FTP Upload?

Postby Templace » Mon May 17, 2010 1:52 am

Hello,
I have the X-Lite system on my laptop and also on a desktop in the offices which is logged into our telephone lines. Because it is either logged in on the desktop or on the laptop the recordings made using the "Record" button will be saved on different systems which would be an inconvinience. I was wondering if it was at all possible to have it to record to an FTP by using the url ftp://username:password@ftp.website.com/ but it's not proving successful.

Is this possible and if so am I going the right way about it?

Thanks
Aaron Naughton

X-Lite has no way to save recordings in any other way than local files. But you can attach a network drive to the same logical drive on each computer and the recording will go to the same spot (e.g., drive R: will be "\\MyServer\MyShare\RecordingFolder" on both the desktop and laptop, or even "\\TheDesktop\MyShare\RecirdingFolder", as long as the desktop is always available).
