Both computers are connected via a wireless Netgear Router
Toshiba laptop (dual processors, plenty of RAM)
Dell XPS430 Desktop (quad processors, plenty of RAM)
Both have same install of X-Lita (3.0) and same build
When I launch X-Lite on the Laptop I can make and connect calls without a problem with or without firewalls active. I can only make outbound calls on the Dell desktop when X-Lite is open on the laptop. When I close X-Lite on the laptop and try to make a call on the desktop I get a voice error on X-Lite that says, "The device you are using is not registered to place calls on the network."
There are no specific settings in the router admin that allows the laptop's IP to have access. I didn't have to do anything to connect with the laptop - I've tried everything with the laptop. The only differences I can think of is desktop is 64-bit and has a USB wireless adapter. The laptop is 32-bit and has an integrated wireless adapter.
Anything you can do to help me connect on my desktop would be much appreciated.
