Calls dropping after 30 seconds

Why are my calls dropping after 30 seconds? Anyone else noticing this?

Have a look at my response to calls droping in 1 sec. Basically I found calls started to drop about one week ago checked various parameters and found call stayed up for the number of seconds set in "Options, Advanced, Network,Call Inactivity RTCP. I disabled Call Inactivity and problem went away. I do not know if it will cause other problems as of now I do not have any other problems.

That is the correct solution for a connection where there is no RTCP.

I have just installed Xlite Beta 4.0 Beta 2 55091 now i am running under Windows Seven

I don't understand why my call are just 20secs long!!!!

Any idea?

NB: I didn't find Options, Adavanced, Network, I have just Preference and Never found Inactivity Time

What is RTCP. I am not seeing any option for that. This is basically all I see.

You are looking at Account settings, you need to look under "Options".

This simply doesnt happen here at all.
If you have a Wireshark trace of the issue, you can send it to support for analysis of the issue.

Thanks for reply! This is quite strange because I am not the only one to get bored with this pb!

So, i get this pb since i am under Win7 and X lite 4.0 beta 2 (55091), my calls drops off after 24sec exactly

I have a DSL line, and i use an Ethernet connection

I have just downloaded Whireshark and installed WinPcAp before, but i nothing happened when i clicked on Whireshark (i did it with Firewall off and with Administrator property)

In fact, i had 3 fasle dll during Installation procedure of Win P Cap (npptools.dll, netnm.inf, nmnt.sys are false on my new win7 operating ystem)

I asked help from Win P Cap, and i, actually, waiting for an answer

Please provide more direction as to how to get to options, while confirming you have the same version of x-lite.

Thanks Carmen but you are under Xlite 3 and we are under Xlite 4 beta 2 (55091)

Still have not log with Wireshark, i have a software bug with it

There is currently no RTCP setting in the X-Lite beta.
It will likely get added in the next few builds.
